It’s Not Christmas Night But I Find True Awe!
Tonight sure feels like Christmas eve. We have a major snow storm bearing down on us in Washington DC and my six year has got a cough and a cold. But tonight I see something truly beautiful, a message. Soft and gentle, the kind you need to deliver to your audience.
The message is true and pure. A Christmas message that the world yearns for - a moment of peace. Not peace and quiet but true peace of mind. The peace of mind that your loved ones look deeply into your eyes for - security, trust and awe.
What is awe?
Per Webster:
a noun feeling of reverential respect mixed with fear orwonder : they gazed in awe at the small mountain ofdiamonds | the sight filled me with awe | his staff membersare in awe of him.• archaic capacity to inspire awe : is it any wonder thatChristmas Eve has lost its awe?verb [ trans. ] (usu. be awed)inspire with awe : they were both awed by the vastness of the forest | [as adj. ] ( awed) he spoke in a hushed, awed whisper.
I trust you will find a moment to find true awe with your client and speak in a hushed and whispered tone. The tone of a true partner, resource and trusted expert.
Tonight, he still coughs quietly in bed but I know that the spirit of Christmas lives in his heart. He’s my son and he’s six. Bring a little six year old into your content, message and publishing. Your clients will love you for it.
How about treating every client like your very own child. You’ll never want for new clients.
Happy Snow Storm: light a fire, drink some nice red wine and give to those in need - give until it hurts.
Stella says peace on earth and peace in your own backyard. Even if it’s filled with snow.
