First let me thank IBM for committing to excellence and curiosity. This is their work and it's probably the best "thing" you'll read this year and the shortest at 76 pages but worth every moment you spend. Enjoy!
Here's what the site Design Mind (thanks and love the site) had to say and where I originally found the link to this report, I guess I'll call it a white paper but it's so much more.
IBM has just released its fourth annual survey based on 1500 face-to-face interviews with global CEOs. Past studies have been rich sources of understanding the trends that company leaders are seeing...
It seems that it's raining sales from advertising place on apps.
From MediaPost Blogs, "App Ads Precipitate Sales" by Jack Loechner
A recent study from mobile audience media company JiWire revealed that, of the roughly 1,000 smartphone users surveyed, 52% claim they have acted on an advertisement in an app and 18% have made a purchase directly from an ad in an app in the last month. Their new report "examines device use, consumer adoption of Wi-Fi and consumer preferences for mobile content and advertising delivery." 55% of the on-the-go audience owns an app-enabled smartphone or mobile...
Apple quite possibly is about to dominate another of the online arena - content delivered directly to a device. The iPad could be another game changer for Apple by creating an iTunes like interface which customers will customized content for daily delivery.
I expect in the next two or three years a new online store from Apple, "iContent" which will be geared toward delivering content directly to consumers via the new device - iPad. Bye-Bye - no more newspapers, magazines or websites except maybe through Apples portal, site, store or cloud.
Microsoft and Google better get their stuff together,...

"All About Goodwill: Miss DC's Recycling Platform (And How We Can All Take A Stand) By Cynthia Bosnian of City Renewed is just that kind of good- hearted and giving article with a community perspective. What makes it so thoughtful? Simplicity - the simplicity of giving those slightly used clothing and household items to an organization (Goodwill) so that they can be ReUsed, ReCycled and ReFashioned. Alexis Ohanian: How to Make a Splash in Social Media
The world is filled with "so-called" Web 2.0 experts and content marketers.
Everyone and their mother is giving social networking advice and not even Twitter itself has figured out how to monetize social networking.
Try this experiment, fire up your TweetDeck interface, create a new column and do a twitter search under the terms: content marketing. Each day follow and research the content marketing tweets by clicking through on all the links and see what's there. I'll tell you to save you the time and trouble - nothing but advice....
A new Swedish study just released has found that content marketing and custom publishing don't really work!

Surprise, Surprise - People Won't Pay for Online Content
I love my online newspaper, whatever format. I cannot imagine having a tree delivered to my front door seven days a week anymore. But I do know, that there are people who want the touch and feel of the traditional newspaper. This appeared at ReadWriteWeb dot com in an article titled, "80% of US Consumers Won't Pay For Online Content." Written by Frederic Lardinois / November 16, 2009.
According to a new Forrester survey, almost 80% of Internet users in the US and Canada would not pay for access to newspaper and magazine websites....
Are You Twitter Tired?
The Tweeting End is Nearer than You Think.
I know, it’s really cool right now to be involved with the world-o-tweets and everybody including my grandmother has a twitter account. My grandmother is tweeting away about her favorite denture cleaner, how to cheat better at bridge and Reader Digest’s’s latest diagnosis of her imagined medical conditions.
Now, I love my grandmother but that’s just plain scary.
This article is two things:
It's a whole bunch of questions that each marketing director, company, organization and individual professional will...

Stella Pop Content Marketing - The New Publishing that Connects.
Do you have a website? But no one goes there, finds it or does anything with it once they get there?

Here at Stella Pop, we want to give you the world, the online and the marketing message world.
Our job is to take your companies message, content and make it remarkable. Sometimes it takes the form of re-contenting, re-contenting is the method of re-using the material that you have developed over months or years of business and re-contenting it to get your business found online. Bridging the gap between selling and messaging content and connecting you with your audience.

Forming was Phase 1. Phase 2 of customer relationships StellaPop-style is Storming. The storming phase may not be as chaotic or uncomfortable as it sounds. Every group/team will storm...this is where different ideas compete for consideration. The team raises and addresses issues such as what problems they are really supposed to solve, how they will function independently and together and what leadership model they will develop and accept. Team members will open up comparing and contrasting each other's ideas and perspectives. In some cases storming can be resolved quickly. In others,...
